The HALO Connect at Tan Tock Seng Hospital

As the latest in a series of installations focused on activating outdoor spaces, ThinkPhi has installed our flagship product, the HALO Connect, at one of the oldest and leading healthcare institutions in Singapore, Tan Tock Seng Hospital which was established in 1844.

As part of a recreational zone on the 1st floor deck of the hospital, the HALO Connect smart canopy covering 25 square meters was established with the primary objective of providing a shaded shelter.

In additional to providing respite from the heat and sun, the HALO Connect can also harvest rain water and use Singapore's abundant sunshine to power its smart features including ambient LED lighting, wireless mobile charging and an interactive touchscreen display. In addition to these, ThinkPhi was able to utilize the solar energy to power a small irrigation pump that could channel the harvested rainwater for landscaping activities.
